LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Job Summary:
Provides nursing care within the scope of practice under the direction of RNs, physicians, or other licensed practitioners. Administers medications, treatments, and therapies; monitors patient conditions; and maintains accurate records. Assists patients with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and recreational programs. Provides guidance and support to lower-level staff and participates in team meetings and training.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections (IM & subcutaneous).
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reactions, and progress.
- Assist with personal care, vital signs, and daily living activities.
- Support recreational and therapeutic activities per treatment plans.
- Supervise and train support staff in patient care.
- Maintain medication and medical equipment inventory.
- Attend staff meetings, in-services, and interdisciplinary team discussions.
Requirements/Skills:
- Knowledge of LPN procedures, pharmacology, and patient care.
- CPR and first-aid skills.
- Familiarity with hospital and clinical procedures and HIPAA standards.
- Proficient in using medical equipment (dialysis machines, oxygen equipment, blood pressure monitors, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
