Weekend Caregivers

Avionn Home Healthcare provides in-home care services throughout the San Antonio area. We are currently searching for compassionate weekend caregivers for all weekend shifts to provide non-clinical in-home care, companionship, and assistance throughout our community.

Please note job requirements: Minimum 1-year senior caregiving experience, driver's license, car insurance & dedicated vehicle and availability to work every weekend.

• To interview we require / you must have a minimum of 1-year senior caregiving experience, a valid driver's license, current Insurance, and a dedicated vehicle, availability to work weekends and have authorization to work within the US,, are all requirements for Avionn Home Health Caregiver roles.

Our Caregivers Provide:

· Personal care in the home environment.

· Emotional Support.

· Assistance with activities of daily living.

· Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

· Monitor medication reminders.

Skills and Requirements:

Caregiving experience: Experience in First aid (CPR) Ability to perform light housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary restrictions (we will educate on special diets) Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Respectful, prompt, professional and good time management.

• Effective communication and people skills
• Strong ethics - At Avionn, we always strive to do the right thing
• Physical endurance - able to assist someone who can't help themselves.
• Must have a valid Driver's License, current Insurance, a Reliable Vehicle and availability to work Weekends (as much as every other weekend) (Are All Role Requirements)
• US work authorization (Required)
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

• Remind clients to take medication.
• Assist clients with standing/walking and mobility around their home or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, social outings, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with their exercises, activities, and companionship.
• Plan and prepare meals from scratch, sometimes with clients' input.
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties (tasks that need to be done daily/weekly like dishes and laundry)
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

To interview you must have a valid driver's license, current car Insurance, a reliable vehicle and availability to work weekends and have authorization to work within the US, are requirements for all Avionn Home Health Care Caregiver roles.

Position Salary is: $ $18.00 per hour depending on experience.
