POSITION SUMMARY:

Serves food and beverages to employees and visitors coming through the cafeteria line. Operates cash register and reconciles cash deposits. Stocks and cleans all areas of the cafeteria.

POPULATION SERVED: Core competencies will be assessed primarily on the following patient population(s) served: medical/surgical conditions and diseases cardiovascular, neuro, GI, renal, immunocompromised including but not limited to: CHF, CAD, CVA/TIA, metabolic disorders, oncology, COPD, malnourished, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Serves food and beverages to staff, guest, and physicians.
• Operates cash register and completes all cash deposits.
• Maintains all cafeteria service areas clean and organized.
• Disposes of all departmental waste.
• Serves customers with courtesy and respect.
• Complies with all HACCP,TDH, JCAHO and safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned within scope and practice of licensure.

• Food Handlers/Safety must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
