Structural Concrete Formwork Carpenter - Commercial Foundations & Walls

We are seeking experienced Structural Formwork Carpenters who are ready to commit to a stable, long-term career building high-impact commercial and industrial structures. You will be a critical part of the crew, responsible for the full scope of footing and wall forming and pouring for our commercial and industrial projects across eastern Iowa.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Structural Forming: Erecting, aligning, plumbing, and bracing for structural concrete walls, columns, and pits.
  • Layout: Reading commercial blueprints and using layout tools to set precise line, grade, and level for footings and walls.
  • Quality Control: Accurately setting and securing embed plates, anchor bolts, and ties to tight tolerances.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintaining a safe site and executing form cycles with speed to meet project timelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of verifiable experience as a Formwork Carpenter in commercial or industrial structural concrete.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret detailed commercial construction drawings/blueprints.
  • Expertise with large-scale wall systems (e.g., Doka or EFCO) is a major asset.
