Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Duties

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor patient health and observe for any changes in condition, including vital signs and behavioral cues
  • Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation practices
  • Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, utilizing specialized techniques
  • Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and resident lifts safely and effectively
  • Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Provide emotional support, companionship, and social engagement to promote mental well-being

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings preferred
  • Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
  • Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, HIPAA compliance training are highly desirable
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory impairments is a plus
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely (up to 50 pounds) when necessary for resident mobility or transfers
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with residents of all ages and backgrounds
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; some positions may require working evenings or weekends depending on the setting
