Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards for excellence. Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following all food safety guidelines.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, offering input on seasonal dishes and specials.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, fryers, and ovens.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Adhere to proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure quality.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook or dietary aide in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using kitchen equipment, including knives and cooking appliances.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A passion for fine dining and creating exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
