Become a Key Player as a Sr Software Engineer

As a Sr Software Engineer, you will design and deliver reliable, scalable components that power Adobe's platform within the AJO B2B OPEX organization. You'll partner across engineering peers to drive performance, security, and operational excellence while covering a full-time employee's leave of absence. You will lead deployments, conduct effective code reviews, and help evaluate technologies that strengthen the stack.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

Design, develop, and test key platform components, including automated tests and continuous integration.

Build highly reliable, scalable systems that remain easy to maintain.

Improve availability, performance, scalability, and security of the product.

Own feature/component design independently and conduct effective peer code reviews.

Lead and participate in production deployments; diagnose and resolve production issues.

Evaluate new technologies and help incorporate them into the technology stack.

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

7+ years working in SaaS platforms and technologies.

Experience planning and implementing architectures for new services or components.

Strong core Java or other object-oriented languages; solid design patterns and OOD/OOP skills.

Knowledge of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.

Proficiency with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.

Solid understanding of Docker or other container orchestration systems.

Positive work attitude, self-starter, and strong team collaboration.

Creative problem-solving and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Here's What Else Might Help You Out

Working knowledge of Redis and Mongo.

Experience building enterprise applications with the Spring framework.

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies.

Affinity for APM and monitoring tools (New Relic, Wavefront, Vivid Cortex).

Pay Range

$ $73.24/hour
