Direct Support Professional/DTT/After School/Summer Camp Program

We are seeking Direct Care Workers to join our Youth After School and Day Treatment and Training Program team on a full-time or part-time basis

You will assist in facilitating an entertaining yet educational environment that foster inclusivity for youth with various intellect levels. You will work helping youth reach predetermined goals based in their respective individualized plans.

This is an excellent entry level opportunity with potential to fast track to a Care Coordinator position. Experience is preferred, however training and development provided for ideal candidates.*

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a safe, healthy and comfortable environment
  • Creating a welcoming and youth-friendly classroom space
  • Providing positive interaction with students
  • Picking up and returning supplies to the LMS Territory Manager
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Must be prompt and on-time
  • Assist with with daily activities
  • Transporting of youth from school, home and or the Life Enrichment Center
  • Communicate and document ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties.
  • Collaborate with peers, support coordinators, members and families for best care opportunities.
  • Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment.
  • Ability to build rapport with members and families,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:​

  • Must be over the age of 18.
  • Possess or ability to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Posses or ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and Article 9 certifications.
  • Valid Driver's License (reliable transportation is desirable although not required).
  • Patience and a willingness to positively impact our member's lives

We will assist you in obtaining all required certifications if you do not have them.

Preferences:

  • Spanish speaking desirable
  • Reliable transportation is a plus although not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
