Position Overview: 
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager who is passionate about building a high-performing team and fostering a positive, results-driven culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruiting top talent, developing team members, developing partner & distributor relationships and implementing strategies that drive revenue growth for both our Value Added Reseller (VAR) and Managed Service Provider (MSP) sales channels in North America. This role will involve leading and scaling a team of sales representatives, ensuring each member is equipped for success, collaborating x-functionally across regional & global strategic initiatives and creating an environment where collaboration and excellence thrive.  This is a fully in-person position located in our Minneapolis, MN HUB Office.
 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Team Building & Recruitment:
    • Lead efforts to recruit, hire, and onboard top talent for the inside sales team, ensuring that each new hire aligns with our company values and growth objectives. 
    • Develop and maintain a strong team culture focused on accountability, professional growth, and celebrating wins. 
    • Build a cohesive, motivated, and engaged team by organizing regular team-building activities and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment. 
    • Provide ongoing mentorship, training, and support to team members to help them reach their full potential. 
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals and drive revenue growth. 
    • Set ambitious but achievable sales targets and ensure the team is consistently meeting or exceeding those goals. 
    • Collaborate closely with marketing and other departments to create a seamless customer acquisition strategy. 
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities to optimize the sales process. 
  • Leadership & Culture Development:
    • Act as a role model for company values, fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and a customer-first mentality within the team. 
    • Create an environment where team members feel empowered to share ideas, innovate, and take ownership of their work. 
    • Encourage a feedback-rich culture where team members feel comfortable discussing challenges and seeking support. 
    • Recognize and reward top performers, reinforcing a high-achievement culture. 
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Ensure the team is providing exceptional customer service, building lasting relationships, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. 
    • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage customer information, and report on team performance. 
    • Serve as an escalation point for customer issues, helping the team to resolve concerns quickly and effectively. 
  • Reporting & Performance Analysis:
    • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and other analyses to senior management. 
    • Use data-driven insights to continuously improve the team's performance and adapt strategies as needed. 
    • Monitor the sales pipeline, ensuring the team effectively manages leads through each stage of the sales cycle. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field or experience. 
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5+ years in a sales management role. 
  • Proven experience in recruiting, developing, and leading successful sales teams. 
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce). 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. 
  • A passion for building a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. 
  • Experience in Data Security, Data Protection, Storage, and MSP is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies such as SPIN Selling, Challenger Sales
