This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days.

The Customer Growth team helps drive Redfin's business by turning website visitors into active home buyers, sellers, and mortgage customers. We run fast-paced experiments to understand user behavior, improve how we connect with early-stage searchers, and optimize our contact channels. Our work has a measurable direct impact on the business's bottom-line and plays a key role in bridging Redfin's online experience and in-person service.

The Role

• Design, build, and maintain high-impact features that convert website visitors into home buyers, sellers, and mortgage customers
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, analysts, and other engineers to shape the user journey from first click to customer
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on experiments that drive measurable improvements in conversion and engagement
• Own the full lifecycle of features, from technical design and implementation to monitoring and optimization
• Help shape the team's technical direction and contribute to decisions around architecture, tooling, and best practices
• Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and foster a culture of learning and collaboration

Who you are

• 3+ years of professional full-stack software development experience specifically in React and Java
• Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, handle ambiguity, and empathize with customers
• Brings a product mindset: curious about user behavior, driven to improve the user experience, and motivated by business impact
• Previous experience working on A/B-experimentation teams a plus

Base Pay Range: $125, , Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs.
