What you'll do
- Interpret and apply federal, state, and organizational policies to ensure Salem Health's ongoing compliance with evolving regulations.
- Monitor and report on new or emerging compliance issues, advising leadership and recommending appropriate actions.
- Identify areas for compliance improvement and lead the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
- Investigate reported compliance concerns, assess root causes, and recommend effective resolutions.
- Utilize data analytics to detect anomalies, assess risk, and prioritize audit activities based on potential compliance vulnerabilities.
- Communicate audit results and collaborate with departments to ensure timely remediation and policy alignment.
- Serve as a resource and educator on compliance, privacy, and regulatory matters while supporting broader organizational integrity initiatives.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in business, healthcare administration, public health or related field.
- Healthcare compliance- Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC) or Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) within 12 months of hire.
- Healthcare compliance or Healthcare internal audit professional within 12 months of hire.
- 2 to 5 years experience in hospital and or health system

- This role is hybrid (remote and in person) and candidates will need to be available to come on site as needed.
