• The Komori Pressman is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Komori offset printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. This role ensures accurate color reproduction, registration, and overall print quality while maintaining efficient production and minimizing waste.

• Set up and operate Komori offset presses (e.g., Lithrone series) according to job specifications.
• Read and interpret job tickets, proofs, and customer specifications to ensure accurate press setup.
• Mix and adjust inks to achieve consistent and accurate color output.
• Monitor press operations for registration, color consistency, and print quality throughout production runs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and print-related issues to minimize downtime and waste.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on press equipment.
• Collaborate with prepress, bindery, and finishing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records, including press downtime and waste.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize press efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing preferred.
• 2+ years of experience operating Komori offset presses in a commercial or packaging environment.
• Strong knowledge of offset printing processes, inks, substrates, and finishing operations.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, proofs, and technical specifications.
• Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Commercial printing facility with exposure to machinery, inks, solvents, and noise.
• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring precision and attention to detail.
• PPE required and adherence to safety protocols.
