Software Quality Assurance Engineer

The Software QA Engineer will work directly with developers to test new features as they are built, create and execute test cases to validate functionality and performance, and identify, document, and track bugs. The position involves collaborating with developers to debug issues and verify fixes, as well as helping to set up and maintain automated test coverage for core features. The engineer will also be responsible for performing regression and exploratory testing before releases and contributing to the improvement of testing processes and release workflows.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA best practices.
  • Skilled in manual testing and familiar with automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
  • Comfortable testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.
  • Able to read or write simple scripts in JavaScript, Python, or another language.
  • Familiar with Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and collaborative work style with an enthusiasm for working closely with developers to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

This position is onsite at our Boston HQ located next to South Station.
