Retina Specialists of Michigan is proud to be the only privately owned retina practice in West Michigan, dedicated to providing exceptional care and prioritizing our patients' needs. With a team of nine physicians, we specialize in vitreoretinal diseases and offer expertise in various sub-specialties, including pediatric retina, uveitis, and ocular oncology. We are looking for a full-time, detail-oriented, and organized Patient Access Phone Rep to join our Grand Rapids office. In this role, you will deliver an exceptional patient experience through courteous, accurate, and efficient communication. Responsibilities include managing high-volume inbound calls, scheduling and updating appointments, verifying insurance information, and supporting various administrative functions. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a warm, professional demeanor aligned with RSM's core values.
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients as they begin their journey toward better eye health. Key Responsibilities:
- Answer high volume of inbound phone calls proficiently.
- Deliver exceptional communication and service.
- Facilitate patient scheduling and appointment coordination for multiple providers across various locations.
- Accurately address and document inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure compliance & operational excellence.
