Learning And Development Specialist

The Learning & Development Specialist plays a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and coordination of training programs and learning initiatives across the organization. This role ensures smooth delivery of learning experiences by managing logistics, maintaining accurate training records, and providing administrative support for learning systems and tools. The L&D Specialist partners closely with SMEs, employees, and internal teams to promote a culture of continuous learning, while ensuring operational excellence in every aspect of training delivery and employee development.
This position is in office. Monday-Friday.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist with the L&D planning process.
- Work alongside Subject Matter Experts to create custom training content.
- Assist with career pathing and job architecture projects.
- Manage the New Hire Orientation program, including facilitation as necessary.
- Provide project coordination support for learning initiatives and team-wide efforts.
- Utilize and support digital learning tools and platforms to enhance training delivery and learner engagement.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and events (e.g., scheduling, room setup, materials).
- Manage training calendars and communicate schedules to employees and facilitators.
- Support the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course assignments, troubleshooting, course creation, and reporting.
- Maintain accurate training records and track attendance, completions, and feedback.
- Respond to employee inquiries about learning opportunities and systems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or Organizational Development preferred.
- 3-5 years of HR experience, with 2+ years in L&D.
- Prior experience with facilitation required.
- Prior experience with creating e-learning programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with reporting and recordkeeping in an LMS platform strongly preferred.
