What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
- Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location.
- Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises in accordance with established protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business areas and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
- Document and report any unusual activities, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to company and client requirements.
- Assist visitors and employees with inquiries or directions while maintaining a professional presence.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related needs and concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
