Position: Procurement & Forecasting Specialist
What you'll do:
- Provide direct backup support for the DP role for standard forecasting and purchasing decisions
- Process acknowledgments and manage receiving inbox
- Provide backup support for purchasing team.
- Prepare vendor reports to include assessments on vendor KPI's.
- Submit invoices to Accounting and assist with PO creation.
- Support new item management, out-of-stock issues, and vendor communication as part of the procurement team.
- Assist warehouse team with product issues, damages, and container spacing.
- Maintain vendor list and support contract labor reporting.
- Coordinate logistics and container shipments with suppliers, carriers, and freight forwarders.
- Track shipments and prepare shipping documents (BOL, packing lists, invoices, customs forms).
What you need:
- High school diploma required: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- 4 –7 years of experience in procurement, logistics, and purchasing. Customer Service experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of purchasing processes, logistics, and warehouse coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; ERP experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities and flexibility to support multiple teams.
Based out of our San Antonio Office
Status: Full Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday / 7:30am - 4:30pm
