ABOUT THE ROLE

Bussers are primarily responsible for maintaining a clean environment for the guests in the hotel restaurant. You will provide a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy. You will also assist our guests with refilling drinks and running food throughout the shift.

Essential Duties:

  • Must have the ability to grasp, lift, carry, and move large bus trays of food, plates, utensils, and glasses weighing a maximum of 20 lbs. on continuous schedule.
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.

Specific Requirements of this role:

  • Continuously clear used glasses, dishes, and silverware from the dining room tables, bar top, and lounge area, and transport them to the dishwashing area
  • Set up and clean down tables between customers, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
  • Monitor the floor spaces for needed sweeping, reconfiguring of furniture, spills, etc.
  • Assist food servers in delivering food and drinks to guest tables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: 

  • The base pay range for this position is paid a minimum wage of $16.50 an hour and a tip credit is taken when applicable.

  • Proven work experience, hotel level food serving preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
