Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and energetic machinist and welders to join our team in the dynamic manufacturing in the motorsports field. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and efficiency, ensuring all projects meet strict quality standards and safety regulations. Your expertise will contribute to the successful assembly of structural and mechanical systems across various in house projects and manufacturing sites. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and assemble metal components. Knowledge of AutoCad inventor is a plus.
  • Perform MIG , TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), various welding techniques to join metals in accordance with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and ductwork.
  • Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Conduct pipe threading, soldering, machining, and assembly tasks as required for mechanical systems installation.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or in fabrication shops, including rigging procedures and the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, quality checks, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize production workflows.
  • Assist in the setup and operation of machinery such as press brakes or plasma cutters to ensure precision cuts and bends.
  • Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work essential for fabrication accuracy.

Experience

  • Proven experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments involving metal fabrication.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various skills and techniques in various welding processes.
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, mechanical drawings, and schematics is essential for precise fabrication work.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, pipe threading tools, and rigging gear.
  • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices is highly desirable.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes including ductwork installation or pipe fitting is advantageous.
  • Math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks.
