About the Role

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will help expand our online platform and deliver new features from start to finish. The products you will be working on allow our clients to interact with  real time manufacturing data coming out of our AI analysis pipeline and our deployed systems. As an early addition to the team, your technical talent will influence the quality and structure of our frontend and backend systems, directly providing value to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop features from scratch by following the full software development cycle from taking initial requirements before development, to gathering feedback post-deployment
  • Be proficient with git and best development practices
  • Have a growth mindset and be open to learning new technologies in other areas of our product development
  • Ask questions about and improve our current codebase

A qualified candidate for this role will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or similar with at least 2 years of experience.

Required skills include

  • Experience with Vue3 (and Typescript)
  • Experience with Python and the major libraries we use: FastApi + Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, and Pytest
  • Experience with SQL databases and MongoDB
  • Experience with Linux Operating Systems
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and in a codebase)
  • Comfortable working around our office dogs

Desired skills include

  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with the Agile framework, and Jira specifically
  • Experience with Rust and/or C++
  • Being good at Geoguessr
