Position: Day Porter/Grounds Keeper

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Major Objective: Maintain the physical condition and service needs of Bowman Place shopping center. Ideal for a student or retiree Make easy money for the holidays.

Areas of Responsibility: Day porter janitorial - Keep all building exterior common areas in a first-class condition. Pick up trash, blow leaves and debris, replace trash can liners, make small repairs, pressure wash, paint, and other tasks as assigned.

Work Week: 12-15 flexible hours per week with growth potential

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, plus premium wages for weekend, overtime or emergency response time.

Required Candidate Attributes:

  • Maintenance Skills not a must, but a desire to learn is an absolute
  • Trustworthy
  • Able to work alone under limited supervision
  • Able to work in inclement weather
  • Able to be professional with retail tenants and reflect well on Bowman Place
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended time while on the job
  • Must pass a pre-employment skills assessment and background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
