Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Reconstruction Project Manager experienced in the water, fire, and mold restoration industry. This individual will be responsible for leading, budgeting, scheduling, and successfully managing multiple residential and commercial jobs through the reconstruction phase.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Xactimate, the industry-standard estimating software, to ensure accurate scope and budget management. The role requires strong knowledge of restoration processes and the ability to handle mitigation and reconstruction projects efficiently, maintaining communication with all stakeholders, including customers, estimators, contractors, and administrative staff.

This position is ideal for someone self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and timeline adherence.
  • Perform inspections of damaged properties to assess reconstruction needs.
  • Create detailed, accurate estimates in Xactimate for insurance claims and out-of-pocket projects.
  • Collaborate with mitigation teams to ensure a smooth transition from cleanup to reconstruction.
  • Communicate effectively with property owners, insurance adjusters, and internal staff.
  • Oversee subcontractors and ensure work aligns with contract specifications.
  • Monitor job budgets, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project.

Location:

Lighthouse Restoration & Construction is located in Carrollton, TX. This position requires the candidate to report in person and travel to job sites within the Dallas- Fort Worth Areas.

Requirements:

  • College Degree (2- or 4-year) or 3-5 years of experience in construction management or restoration services.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software is required.
  • Strong understanding of water, fire, and mold restoration processes.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying scopes and deadlines.
  • Comfortable using technology such as smartphones, tablets, and computers.
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting 50 lbs.
  • Must pass a background check and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Fluent in English (required). Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IICRC Certifications (e.g., Water Damage Restoration Technician, Applied Structural Drying) are highly desirable.
  • Previous experience managing restoration projects involving insurance claims.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and local building codes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75, $90,000.00 per year
