PM Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and attentive Bartender to join our team at the Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown. This position will work at both of our iconic outlets, The Library Restaurant, and our rooftop Skye Lounge.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving food and drinks in a friendly and attentive manner.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wine, to guests.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu and be able to make recommendations to guests.
• Ensure that all food and drink orders are accurate and prepared in a timely manner.
• Handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system to manage transactions.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized, and restock supplies as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies accordingly.
• Provide assistance to other staff members as needed.
• Maintain a commitment to food safety and adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage your time efficiently to meet the needs of the restaurant.

Skills

• Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a fine dining setting.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Proficiency in operating a point-of-sale system.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Cash handling experience and the ability to manage transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with food and drink preparation and presentation.
• A commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $5.00 - $9.00 per hour
