Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) – to join our team. This role focuses on providing high-quality support to individuals with disabilities, assisting them in daily activities, personal development, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:Direct Support Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Encourage and support clients in achieving personal goals, fostering independence, and participating in their communities.
  • Provide companionship and engage individuals in meaningful activities, including social outings, exercise, and hobbies.
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and household tasks to promote a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Transport clients to appointments, community events, and recreational activities as needed.
  • Monitor and document changes in clients' physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions and report concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive atmosphere that upholds client dignity and respect.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to follow individualized care plans and work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for client transport).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
