Overview

Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel alignment, and surface preparation
  • Learn to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as airless paint sprayers and welding machines
  • Support the team with vehicle disassembly and reassembly during repair processes
  • Help with auto glass replacement and auto painting tasks under supervision
  • Participate in vehicle detailing to ensure a high-quality finish for customer satisfaction
  • Gain experience in sheet metal work, fabrication, and auto restoration projects
  • Follow safety protocols during all procedures involving heavy lifting, welding, or use of hazardous materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety
  • Develop knowledge of automotive systems through on-the-job training in mechanical repair and vehicle maintenance
  • Collaborate with team members to meet repair deadlines and uphold quality standards

Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic about starting a career in automotive repair or auto body work with a strong desire to learn new skills
  • Previous dealership experience or hands-on work with hand tools is a plus but not required
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with auto maintenance is advantageous
  • Familiarity with MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, or auto painting is preferred but not mandatory—training will be provided
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles at various heights or positions
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures diligently and learn new techniques rapidly
