Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes childhood development, literacy, and social-emotional skills. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of engaging, inclusive, and evidence-based instruction tailored to diverse student needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while collaborating with dedicated staff and families.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative learning technology and age-appropriate activities.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement, behavior management strategies, and individualized support, especially for children with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet each child's unique learning needs.
  • Facilitate early intervention strategies, speech therapy techniques, and behavioral health practices to support children's holistic growth.
  • Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists, behavioral therapists, and other educators to enhance student outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed records of child progress, conduct regular communication with parents about development milestones, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Lead classroom activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning within a Montessori or preschool setting.

Experience

  • Proven classroom management experience in early childhood education or preschool environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise working with children with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays.
  • Experience with curriculum development tailored for early learners across various subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and childcare.
  • Background in special education practices, behavioral health interventions, and early intervention programs.
  • Familiarity with learning technology tools used for instruction and assessment purposes.
  • Prior experience working in daycare centers or private schools is highly desirable.
