A lovely family in Bel Air with a second residence in Malibu is looking for a long-term, full-time, live-out housekeeper. The role starts as soon as possible. The family does include young children, but there are full-time nannies already in place. This role will work alongside an existing team, including another housekeeper, assistant, and chef. The family will guarantee 40 hours per week, and the schedule will include three weekends per month. The exact schedule will be discussed as the family is flexible and will rotate holidays and time at the Malibu house between team members. No travel will be required except to the second residence in Malibu.
Responsibilities- All aspects of housekeeping for both residences. Staff typically rotate between the two homes, though Bel Air is the primary home.
- Deep cleaning on a schedule
- Laundry, including ironing and pressing
- Daily tidying and organization- maintain current organizational systems and establish new ones as needed.d
- Packing and unpacking the principals for travel
- Service, including beverage service (making and delivering coffee, tea, etc.) for principals and guests
- Experience and training in cleaning high-end fixtures, furniture, and clothing. Real wood floors, crystal, silver, high-end furniture, etc.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and know how to maneuver around a high-net-worth but casual home
- Dedicated, loyal, and trustworthy
- Must have several years of experience in high-net-worth private residences
- An excellent understanding of the English language, both verbal and written.
- Driver's license and own reliable car to get to and from both Bel Air and Malibu
- A true team player. The existing team helps each other out
- Experience with dinner parties, helping to serve, and being professional and warm with guests
- Comfortable working in a busy home with a full staff and young children
- Legally able to work in the US
- $35-45 per hour, depending on experience and training
- Standard benefits include sick days, paid time off, and holiday pay for any holidays worked
