Shining Star Therapy, LLC. is an outpatient practice that serves infants/children in various counties throughout the State of Illinois. We provide Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Developmental Therapy and Child & Family Counseling services to children in Early Intervention (0-3 years) and children up to 12 years of age.

Our therapists work with the child in his/her home/daycare/school, where they feel safe, secure and familiar in their natural environment. Parent education plays an enormous role in the carryover treatment techniques and goals developed within the therapy model, designed with the child and parent in mind. This encourages the child to build upon his/her strengths as the therapist provides therapy techniques to achieve the child's goals and developmental milestones.

Are you a passionate pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding and challenging position?

Join our in-home based team of professional therapy clinician group by building a part or full-time caseload of clients from birth to three years of age and beyond.

We have multiple Illinois pediatric (SLP, PT, OTR/L) therapist positions needed for in-demand Illinois Early Intervention (EI) services throughout the State of Illinois. *Multiple Illinois Early Intervention and Pediatric Therapist Positions Available*

To work for us, you must meet the following criteria:

• Master's and/or Doctorate degree in one of the following areas (SLP, PT, OTR/L) (*Therapist Qualifications Vary Based upon Specialty Area*)
• 1 – 2 years' experience preferred (Recent graduates are welcome to apply)
• EI credential required (will assist with applying)
• Current Professional Illinois state license
• Active CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and a reliable source of transportation
• Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Passionate to work with children, energetic, playful, adaptable, self-initiated
• Strong analytic skills and time management skills
• Excellent computer skills for documentation

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide (SLP, PT, OTR/L) play-based therapy to children in the child's natural environment
• Schedule evaluation and therapy sessions to build your caseload – Flexibility with scheduling
• Develop a plan of care with detailed/measurable goals and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for each child/family
• Write a session note at the end of each treatment session
• Complete Annual Evaluations using approved standardized tests and write detailed report within timeline
• Discuss progress with caregivers and make appropriate suggestions for carryover at home
• Participate in professional development team meetings and continuing education opportunities
• Maintain a valid Illinois professional license (maintain continuing education hours required)
