Job Description Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room (ER) in Glendale, California. This role is essential for providing high-quality care to patients in urgent and critical situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients based on medical need and urgency upon arrival in the ER.
- Provide emergency care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
