Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you'll be the vigilant guardian of overnight operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience while maintaining the integrity of our hotel's financial and administrative records. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night guests, manage front desk activities, and perform detailed audits to uphold our high standards of hospitality management. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that guests remember long after their stay.

Duties

  • Welcome and assist guests during late-night hours with check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries, providing friendly and professional customer service.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, handling reservations, guest requests, and internal communications with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and account reconciliations to uphold hotel management standards.
  • Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner while ensuring all guest information remains confidential and secure.
  • Respond promptly to guest needs and resolve issues related to room accommodations or services with a positive attitude.
  • Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks around the property to ensure guest safety and hotel security protocols are followed.
  • Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to support operational transparency and accountability.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as updating guest records, managing reservations for upcoming days, and supporting overall hotel operations during overnight hours.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems; previous experience with resort or hotel environments is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for accurate financial audits and recordkeeping.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle guest relations professionally during late-night hours.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy levels throughout the shift.
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced hospitality setting that values guest satisfaction above all else.
