We are a Christian, full-day, year-round preschool located in Falls Church, VA serving children ages 18 months to 5 years old. We are a ministry of Columbia Baptist Church whose mission is to "Ignite passion for Jesus Christ from Metro Washington to the world."

We are looking for full-time Assistant Preschool Teachers who are committed Christians—of any denomination—and who share our values and dedication to creating a nurturing, faith-based environment for young children.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines.
  • Help create a safe, loving, and engaging environment both indoors and outdoors.
  • Assist with meals, classroom transitions, and supervising play.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized classroom by tidying up, sanitizing toys and surfaces, and assisting with light cleaning tasks throughout the day.
  • Step in to support other classrooms as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We Need:

  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and occasionally lift children or supplies.
  • Good communication skills with kids, parents, and co-workers.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Ideal candidates will have classroom experience working with young children and be actively pursuing a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent in early childhood education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
