What You'll Do:

As a key member of our administrative care team, you will:

  • Coordinate and secure prior authorizations for medications, imaging, and procedures
  • Manage all outgoing referrals to specialists, ensuring timely follow-up and complete documentation
  • Work closely with providers and insurance companies to streamline care and avoid delays
  • Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and compassion
  • Maintain accurate records in our electronic medical record (eClinicalWorks) system
  • Protect patient confidentiality and stay up to date on changing insurance guidelines

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's preferred)
  • 1–2 years of experience in prior authorizations or referral coordination (family practice preferred)
  • Strong understanding of insurance verification and managed care
  • Proficient in EMR use (eClinicalWorks experience a plus)
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient privacy protocols
