The company is scaling quickly and is looking for exceptional early-career engineers to join its core technical team.

The Role

As a
Founding Engineer
, you'll own complex projects end-to-end — from prototyping and experimentation to deployment and scaling.

You'll work across
research engineering
and
platform engineering
, shaping core systems that advance AI evaluation and data infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable systems — APIs, distributed data pipelines, and human-in-the-loop platforms.
  • Collaborate with research, design, and product teams to iterate quickly.
  • Prototype reinforcement-learning environments and agentic systems.
  • Deploy and scale distributed experiments on Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
  • Improve reliability and observability of internal dashboards and workflows.
  • Contribute to the core architecture underpinning AI evaluation data.

What We're Looking For

We're hiring
exceptional engineers with 0–3 years of experience
who are passionate about AI systems and large-scale infrastructure.

You'll excel here if you have:

  • Strong coding skills in
    / TypeScript, Python, or Go
  • Deep understanding of
    distributed systems, scalability, and system design
  • Experience with
    agentic systems, reinforcement learning, or human-in-the-loop workflows
    (bonus)
  • A builder mindset —
    GitHub activity, open-source projects, or startup experience
  • Clear communication skills and a bias toward ownership and simplicity

Preferred background:

  • Top-tier university (Ivy, T10, or other elite engineering program) OR experience at a
    leading quant, research, or high-growth startup
