The TCL Analyst and Evaluation Coordinator works with cross-functional teams to gather and document reporting requirements and then designs, develops, implements and supports routine mission-critical reports that allow for successful evaluation of the quality components of Alliance Health. The TCL Analyst and Evaluation Coordinator involves identifying areas in need of enhanced reporting solutions and conducting quality assurance testing related to reporting systems, data integrity, and analyses. Additionally, the TCL Analyst and Evaluation Coordinator coordinates efforts to improve team engagement with dashboards and promotes efficient reporting practices across Transitions to Community Living (TCL).

This is a Full-time Hybrid position. The employee is required to come into the office closest to their location one time a week and be willing to travel within the communities Alliance serves as needed. The selected candidate must reside in North Carolina.

Responsibilities & Duties

Analyze Transition to Community Living Requirements and Translate into Specifications

  • Analyze Transition to Community Living activities and data to identify trends, report current data related to expectations and requirements at the state level and within Alliance Health
  • Develop report requests and business specifications and present data as needed
  • Conduct research through business specifications, contracts, journals, web resources, and in-person interviews to gain a better understanding of data requirements for TCL projects
  • Validate data in reports and presentations with business owners and department/unit leadership prior to delivery

Develop Reports and Data Visualization Solutions

  • Using thorough knowledge of available data to design products that merge data from various sources including State data, the data warehouse, and internal platforms including Jiva, TCLD, and SharePoint
  • Assist TCL with any data assurance/integrity efforts required as part of larger quality activities, and with the completion and validation of state-required reports.
  • Collaborate with department/unit leadership to develop processes and definitions for data collection and reporting details
  • Ensure that reporting activities are conducted in ways that correspond with externally mandated specifications
  • Quality checks at the creation of a record and during changes/activity such as quality-of-life surveys, incidents, transitions/location changes, new staff assignment, etc
  • Cross referencing data sources including but not limited to internal and external databases: TCLD, JIVA, ACS, IRIS, CLIVe, NC Tracks, QOL data pull, SharePoint, Transitions to Community Living Data Dashboard

Develop and Document Processes

  • Engineer efficient processes for gathering statistical data, identifying complex trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations
  • Maintain current records of actions being taken to ensure efficient processes and integrity within Alliance
  • Audit, develop, and document processes to accurately monitor data associated with TCL contract performance measures and program requirements

Collaborate with Other Departments to Enhance Operations

  • Work closely with others in Transition to Community Living and the Provider Network Department to enhance operations and automation of reports and processes and perform quality assurance testing of systems and products
  • Actively participate in committees and work groups as appropriate
  • Attend IT/Reporting trainings or meetings that are relevant to the above responsibilities
  • Attend in-person meetings as required to problem-solve and/or collaborate with internal Alliance employees
  • Conduct peer reviews and test solutions for functionality and data accuracy

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, human services/healthcare, or related field and three (3) years of experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods, research design, program evaluation, and testing of applications or reports and dashboards.

Preferred:

Previous experience in healthcare environments.

Knowledge of state/ federal housing database maintenance.

Microsoft Office knowledge and training in the areas specifically support by this position preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Knowledge of data integration (validation and cleaning)
  • Knowledge of complex data and structures
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database systems, statistical analysis, data mining, predictive analytics, performance measurement, and other data science concepts
  • Knowledge of data visualization principles and strategies
  • Skilled in various software applications and informatics systems (Excel, Access, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, Power BI, Qualtrix, EPIC EMR system and SQL language/processes)

Salary Range

$60,234 - $76,779/Annually

Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
