Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care processes, ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional service to our patients. This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of dental terminology, dental insurance and proficiency in various electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Duties

  • Educating patients on treatment options and procedures.
  • Presenting treatment plans and estimates in a clear concise manner.
  • Assisting patients with insurance and financial arrangements.
  • Conduct insurance verification and assist patients with understanding their benefits.
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating care with the clinical team.
  • Managing patient records and medical history.
  • Tracking treatment progress and follow-up appointments.
  • Coordinating insurance benefits, posting estimates and payments.
  • Manage billing and coding processes, including CDT coding.
  • Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain patient records in EMR systems, Open Dental and Dental Intelligence.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, assisting front desk operations, and handling multi-line phone systems.
  • Assist with intake processes and prepare care plans for patients.
  • Ensure a high level of patient service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to streamline operations and enhance patient experience.

Skills

  • Proficient in dental terminology and coding.
  • Experience with EHR systems Open Dental and Dental Intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of dental billing practices and insurance verification processes.
  • Excellent computer skills .
  • Prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting is needed.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

4 day work week. Monday 9am - 7pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am - 6pm and Thursday 9am - 5 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
