What you'll do

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute menus that cater to diverse dietary needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Handle food items with care, demonstrating excellent knife skills and culinary techniques.
  • Support catering events by preparing meals and serving guests with enthusiasm.
  • Participate in inventory management, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and well-stocked.
  • Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and address any dietary inquiries.

Basic qualifications

  • Experience in the food industry, particularly in kitchen or restaurant settings.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a dietary department.
  • Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation for various dietary requirements.
  • Strong culinary skills, including cooking techniques and knife skills.
  • Experience in catering services or large-scale meal preparation.
