_*]:min-w-0 gap-3.5">We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Total Rewards to lead our comprehensive compensation, benefits, and rewards programs across our organization of 3,000+ employees. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape our total rewards strategy, enhance employee engagement, and drive organizational success in a rapidly growing waste and renewable energy services sector.The Director of Total Rewards will report to senior leadership and partner with Human Resources, Finance, and operational teams to design, implement, and optimize competitive compensation and benefits packages that attract, retain, and motivate our talented workforce.Primary ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & PlanningDevelop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy aligned with business objectives, market competitiveness, and organizational cultureConduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to ensure our compensation and benefits packages remain competitive within the industryPartner with Finance and executive leadership to establish total rewards budgets and ROI metricsStay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in compensation managementCompensation ManagementDesign, maintain, and administer competitive compensation structures, pay grades, and salary bands across all organizational levelsConduct job evaluations and ensure equitable pay practices across the organizationDevelop and communicate compensation philosophy and guidelines to management teamsAnalyze compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvementBenefits Administration & StrategyOversee the development and administration of comprehensive benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and supplemental benefitsManage vendor relationships with benefits carriers, TPAs, and service providersEnsure compliance with ACA, ERISA, and other applicable regulationsLead open enrollment planning and communication campaignsIncentive and Recognition ProgramsDesign and manage performance-based incentive programs that drive desired behaviors and outcomesDevelop recognition programs that celebrate achievements and reinforce company cultureEvaluate effectiveness of incentive programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvementTeam LeadershipBuild, develop, and mentor a high-performing compensation and benefits teamProvide training and support to HR staff and managers on total rewards programsFoster collaboration across HR functions and business unitsCompliance & ReportingEnsure all compensation and benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulationsPrepare and present regular reports on total rewards metrics, program performance, and budget utilizationMaintain accurate records and documentationRequired Qualifications8+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits managementDemonstrated experience developing and implementing comprehensive total rewards strategiesStrong knowledge of compensation best practices, market analysis, and job evaluation methodologiesExpert-level understanding of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and compliance requirementsProven experience with HRIS systems, compensation management software, and data analysis toolsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsStrong communication and presentation abilitiesExperience leading and developing teamsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldPHR, SPHR, CCP, or similar HR certification preferredDesired QualificationsExperience in manufacturing, energy, waste management, or similar industriesFamiliarity with total rewards technology platformsBackground in union negotiations or multi-site operations managementMBA or advanced business degreeExperience managing benefits for large, geographically dispersed workforcesCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $190,000 - $225,000 (based on experience and qualifications)Competitive performance-based bonusComprehensive relocation packageFull benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunitiesHow To ApplyQualified candidates are invited to submit the following materials:ResumeCover letterContact informationSubmit Applications ToJeannie HalseyEmail: Please include "Director of Total Rewards" in the subject line of your email.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
