Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing skills in surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. The Armed Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the security of the facility.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
  • Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the safety of individuals in emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports.
  • Participate in training programs related to security protocols, conflict management, and loss prevention.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment (CCTV).
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
  • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
  • Must possess valid armed security credentials as required by state regulations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
