Entry-Level Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking an Entry-Level Construction Laborer who is eager to learn the trade, develop new skills, and support our teams across various phases of construction. This is a full‑time position with opportunities for training and growth. Pay is based on experience.

MUST BE LOCATED IN MAINE.

Skills, Abilities & Qualifications for Entry-Level

  • Ability to perform basic jobsite tasks such as demolition, site cleanup, material handling, and maintaining work areas
  • Willingness to assist carpenters and skilled tradespeople with tasks including windows, doors, framing, exterior work, and interior finishes
  • Strong desire to learn construction best practices and grow within the field
  • Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when guidance is needed
  • Commitment to strict safety procedures and jobsite protocols
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools or power tools is helpful, but training will be provided
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within 1 hour of Lewiston, ME

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
