Summary

The Shift Manager is responsible for leading and supporting all restaurant operations during their shift. Working closely with the Store Manager and ownership team, this role ensures that all activities align with Bro's Hot Chicken Standards for quality, service, and efficiency. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation, excellent customer service, and efficient team management while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
  • Maintain food quality, speed, and service standards during all shifts.
  • Handle shift specific cash management, inventory checks and opening/closing tasks.
  • Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and sending updated inventory reports daily.
  • Train, develop, and mentor staff in areas such as food safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with upper management on staffing needs and operational improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with management about shift performance, staffing, and customer feedback.

Skills

  • 1+ year of restaurant or shift leader experience (quick-service experience preferred)
  • Reliable, organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high-energy environment
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Experience in training & development of staff to enhance performance and service quality.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Passion for great food, teamwork and positive customer experiences
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations related to food handling.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
