General Insurance is a leading provider of insurance products and services for commercial and personal insurance customers. It includes one of the world's most far-reaching property casualty networks. AIG offers a broad range of products to customers through a diversified, multichannel distribution network.

This role will be responsible for the underwriting the most complex risks across various product lines

• Demonstrates proven ability to develop and maintain exceptional working and production relationships. 

• Makes independent sales calls to market and cross-market products.  Manages an assigned portfolio of renewal business. 

• Assists in the establishment and refinement of underwriting workflow. Coordinates work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements.  May monitor performance of staff members according to established monitoring standards.

• Assists in the training of new staff.

• In collaboration the senior leaders and HR, implement tools and strategies to attract and retain top industry talent and develop high performing teams.

What we're looking for:

• 5 years + of aerospace insurance experience. 

• Proven strategic leadership skills in developing vision and purpose, driving for results and leading effective teams

• Oversight of multiple products and geographies preferred

• Advanced knowledge of the Aerospace business including product features, forms, regulatory environment, and risks

• Knowledge of market segmentation, portfolio management, and distribution.

• Demonstrated excellent marketing, influencing, negotiating and communication skills.
