Position Title: Compression Set Up Operator

Department: Compression

Reports To: Supervisor, Compression

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Compression Set Up Operator will be responsible for setting up the compression machines, the maintenance of compression tooling, and the general operation of the presses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Set up of tablet presses for daily operations

· Operate tablet press machines and troubleshoot operation

· Monitor tablet quality such as hardness, thickness, weight, friability

· Clean and maintain equipment and production rooms

· Follow all cGMP requirements as detailed in SOPs

· Document all activities in Master Production Records

· Communicate any deviations to Supervisor

· Provide additional support and assistance on tasks and projects as directed by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Compression experience required. Prior Set Up experience preferred.

· Ability to communicate issues clearly

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must speak English

EDUCATION:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Basic math and writing skills
