We are partnering with a client seeking an experienced human resources professional for their corporate services team, located in The Colony, TX.
This is a 100% onsite role (Monday - Friday)
HR Analyst Job Description
Position Summary
The HR Analyst supports the HR function by analyzing people & commercial enterprise data, improving processes, and providing insights that drive strategic decisions. This role blends analytical capability with an understanding of HR operations to optimize compensation & benefits programs workforce planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
HR Process Optimization
- Evaluate, document, and improve HR processes such as compensation & benefits, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with HR and cross-functional partners to streamline workflows and enhance automation opportunities.
- Maintain data accuracy within the HRIS and ensure alignment with company policies and compliance standards.
- Support audits, reporting, and process documentation for continuous improvement.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify key trends and actionable insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports covering key metrics such as turnover, retention, headcount, and employee engagement.
- Present findings and recommendations to HR leadership to guide decisions in workforce planning and organizational strategy.
- Ensure integrity, confidentiality, and compliance of HR data.
Metrics & Insights
- Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to HR efficiency and organizational health.
- Analyze compensation, benefits, and workforce data to support equity and competitiveness.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to interpret engagement survey data and recommend improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
- Research HR analytics trends and best practices to enhance reporting and process maturity.
- Participate in HR technology projects, including system upgrades and new tool implementations.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving employee experience and operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, data analytics, or a related field is required. MBA a plus.
- 2–5 years of experience in HR analytics, HR operations, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, and employment laws.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, Oracle HCM) and advanced Excel or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQL or data querying tools.
- Exposure to predictive analytics or workforce modeling.
- HR or Analytics certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, People Analytics certification).
