As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and staff. Your visible presence and regular patrols contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. This role may require driving as part of your patrol duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards to Allied Universal management and site leadership.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points within the location as required.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting any irregularities.
• Collaborate with store personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
