Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our multidisciplinary care team. The APRN will play a key role in providing comprehensive care, with a focus on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of clients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive client assessments and diagnose substance use and mental health disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Prescribe medications, including controlled and non-controlled substances, to support detox and ongoing treatment
  • Monitor client progress, re-evaluate treatment plans, and adjust medications as needed
  • Provide education, counseling, and health promotion strategies to clients and their families
  • Accurately document all care and clinical decisions in a timely manner
  • Participate actively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and a client-centered approach in all interactions
  • Ensure care is aligned with best practices, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Arkansas APRN license
  • Valid DEA license for prescribing controlled substances
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
  • Must obtain CPI certification (Crisis Prevention Intervention – Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) within 30 days of hire
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an APRN working with clients in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of co-occurring disorders and their impact on recovery
  • Demonstrated ability to set therapeutic boundaries and manage crisis situations appropriately
