Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the IT Manager; builds, configures, administers, and maintains application and storage server systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Builds, configures, administers, and maintains application and storage server systems;

· Creates and maintains ADS schema, DNS, DHCP, and other network infrastructure systems;

· Administers Microsoft Exchange e-mail system;

· Designs and provisions virtual servers and desktops;

· Configures, monitors, and maintains the corporate patch management and anti-virus systems;

· Monitors assigned systems activity and makes recommendations for improving utilization, security and integrity of systems;

· Conducts preventative maintenance routines and change control processes for assigned systems to ensure optimal operation while minimizing business impact;

· Performs regular system backups and validates the backups by disaster recovery testing;

· Ensures compliance of all assigned systems with applicable regulatory frameworks;

· Provides technical training to end users regarding infrastructure system use and procedures;

· Prepares and maintains technical records and documentation in conformance to department standards;

· Administration of network backbone infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, audio-visual systems, VOIP telecommunications systems and cabling plant.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Must be able to work after hours and be on-call as required;

· Must be able to obtain and maintain New Mexico Gaming Key License;

· Must be at least 21 years of age

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required;

· Two (2) years of experience in VM Ware, Microsoft Server 2003 – 2022 and HP/Aruba;

· Microsoft Certification preferred;

· Nutanix Certification preferred;

· VM Ware Certification preferred;

· Gaming Data Systems preferred;

· Point of Sale systems preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

· Able to tolerate moderate to high levels of noise, bright lights

· Lifts and carries supplies, tubs, and cases, weighing up to 25bs

  • Work is generally performed in an office type environment, however there are times where walking/standing may be required for extended periods of time;
