Role Description

The Disabilities Job Coach is a full-time, on-site role located in Cincinnati, OH. The primary responsibilities include providing personalized job coaching and career counseling to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves supporting clients in developing successful workplace skills, offering guidance and feedback, and fostering their personal and professional growth. The Job Coach will collaborate with employers and support individuals in maintaining fulfilling and sustainable employment opportunities. Daily tasks may include modeling appropriate workplace behavior, assisting with task performance, and maintaining communication between all parties involved.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Job Coaching and Career Counseling to guide and support individuals toward their employment goals.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities to foster positive relationships with clients, employers, and colleagues.
  • Experience in Coaching individuals to build their skills, adapt to workplace environments, and solve challenges as they arise.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to customize support based on each individual's unique needs and goals.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and maintain a professional, inclusive approach in all interactions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in a related field, such as social services, psychology, or education, is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally as needed.
