In this position you will work with the Wholesale Lending team on complex Syndicated and Bilateral loans. You will proactively manage a pipeline of deals and work closely with clients, the legal team, and external stakeholders. Tasks include credit analysis, onboarding and implementing new loans and amendments to the existing portfolio, and initiating fund movements with client and investor instruction. Responsibilities:

  • Review credit documents for commercial banking unit, providing feedback to the deal structuring team
  • Create deal shells in loan software and manage all legal documentation between clients, internal team (transaction coordinators, credit risk, syndicated leveraged finance) and external banking groups to close multi-currency loan deals
  • Actively manage a recurring pipeline of syndicated and bilateral deals ranging from $10M-$500M
  • Initiate fund movements on closing transactions in accordance with client/investor instructions
  • Review deals from team members to ensure Quality Control and Assurance goals are met to preventing failed items including new deals, restructures, and amendments from moving forward in the pipeline.
  • Initiate loan activity, reconcile fund movement, calculate interest/fee accruals, and verify system accuracy to ensure no past due escalations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent years of work experience
  • Advanced Excel: Pivot tables, Vlookup, Xlookup, If Statements
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization and task prioritization skills
  • Calendar management skills
