Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and customer service, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and logic controllers. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency are crucial for success in this position.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems within the facility, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Fabricate and install components as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
  • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems accurately.
  • Conduct residential painting tasks as required to maintain aesthetic standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and courteously.
  • Lead small teams during specific projects or repairs, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to work with logic controllers.
  • Familiarity with various maintenance tools and techniques, including the use of an ohmmeter.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documents effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding teams or projects preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work, including lifting heavy objects.
