Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Coordinator.
In this role, the successful candidate The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Principal Investigator in coordination of research to advance neuromodulation in the treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders (gathering, collecting and analysis of data). He/She will work with subjects undergoing different forms of brain interventions (both as part of clinical care and stand-alone research protocols), collecting a range of data streams for analysis and work with the broader team in analyzing the data and determining clinical and scientific significance. The Program Coordinator also assists with recruitment, enrollment, research data collection and study coordination.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage devices to collect home and outpatient data (e.g., EEG, LFP) for analysis
- Collecting and analyzing data from OR
- Presenting analyzed data at conferences
- Writing up findings for publication
- Collaborating on data analysis with other researchers at the University
- Assisting with regulatory aspects of ongoing and new data collection projects
- Screens potential patients/subjects for eligibility to the study, and schedules visits
- Reviews all elements of the screening process with the Principal Investigator including but not limited to inclusion/exclusion criteria, completed informed consent, documentation of the event and patient/subject willingness to participate in the study.
- Interfaces directly with patients/subjects ensuring accurate execution of research protocols in accordance with Good Clinical Practices, HIPAA and required obligations to patient/subject, Principal Investigator, research team and sponsor.
- Collects patient information including abstraction of data from the patient chart, data for publications, uses tools to facilitate data collection.
- Research collects, compiles and conducts analysis of data for reports.
- Performs intra-operative monitoring and serves as liaison with the IRB and the internal and external funding agencies.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, health care administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Proficiency in using various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiar with Internet applications. Effective oral, written, communication, interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and must work and communicate effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently. Time management skills and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to Project/Program manage and to multi task while paying attention to details.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project/Program management experience preferred.
Experience working with intracranial data and understanding of local field potential data preferred.
MATLAB /Python coding experience preferred.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64, $75,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
